JERRY IS CURRENTLY THE LEAD SINGER WITH THE NICK CONTORNO 15-PIECE ORCHESTRA WHICH PERFORMS AT WEDDINGS, CORPORATE EVENTS, AND FESTIVALS. HIS JAZZ COMBO, THE JERRY GRILLO BAND, APPEARS ONLY IN CLUBS WITH A COVER CHARGE OR GENERAL QUIET POLICY, CORPORATE EVENTS, AND FESTIVALS WITH ADEQUATE SECURITY. HE ALSO APPEARS IN CONCERT HALLS WITH SONGS FROM "WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?" AND "UNDER THE INFLUENCE."

THE JERRY GRILLO BAND INCLUDES PIANO AND BASS OR GUITAR AND BASS (HORNS AND PERCUSSION OPTIONAL). HE USES CONSERVATORY MUSICIANS AND MANY OTHERS WHO PLAY LOCALLY AND IN CHICAGO. THERE ISN'T A LOCAL SEASONED MUSICIAN WHO HASN'T PERFORMED WITH HIM AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER. HE ALSO PERFORMS WITH SOLO PIANO OR GUITAR ACCOMPANIMENT. EVERY LOCAL JAZZ VENUE HAS FEATURED HIS BAND AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER. HE HAS APPEARED AT SUMMERFEST NUMEROUS TIMES, RAINBOW SUMMER, PARK CONCERTS, CULTURAL CENTERS, BASTILLE DAYS, JAZZ IN THE PARK, CHICAGO CLUBS, AND IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC, FRANCE, AND ITALY TO NAME A FEW.

The main page on this site gives information on how to purchase or download his recordings. He collaborated with the internationally renowned LYNNE ARRIALE TRIO on his CD, GOODY FOR YOU. Lynne is recognized as one of the finest jazz pianists in the world, as is her drummer, STEVE DAVIS. BLUE NOTE recording artist JACKIE ALLEN co-produced his first CD, THIS FUNNY WORLD, which features the DEAN ROLAND TRIO from Chicago.
